How do I check my Results and Academic details ?

Click on Student portal & login with your User I’d and Password to check your Academic details.

Is Rajiv Gandhi South Campus-BHU ragging free ?

Rajiv Gandhi South Campus-BHU has a policy of ‘Zero Tolerance for ragging within and outside the campus.

Is there any entrance exam ?

Yes. BHU conducts both UET & PET for admission in different courses.

What are the documents required for admission ?

On the date of Counselling, applicants will be required to bring the following documents

  • Call Letter issued by Banaras Hindu University.
  • Admit Card issued at the time of Entrance Exam.
  • Photocopy of 12th marksheet
  • Photocopy of 10th marksheet
  • Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate.
  • Gap Certificate (If Applicable.)
  • Photocopy of ID Proof (issued by Indian Government)
  • 4 Passport size Photographs

For how long my Health Card is valid ?

Health card is valid through out your academic session.

Are books provided to students from the University ?

The Central Library located in Schools of the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus-BHU remains open 9 hours a day from 9 am to 6 pm on all days. Students can easily get the books related to their course at a single place.

What are the eligibility required for Admission ?

The eligibility criterion for all programs for applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination, must have cleared entrance exam of that particular course and have studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.

Is the Campus Wi-Fi enabled ?

The campus has a seamless Wi-Fi network which allows student to get connected on the net any time, still it is under progress.

Is there any hostel facility for students ?

Yes, Rajiv Gandhi South Campus-BHU provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. For further details, click here.

To whom I have to report regarding problems in Hostel ?

You can inform the Hostel Admin Warden/Asst. Hostel Warden of the problems you are facing in the hostel. For more details about Hostels, Click here.

What are the medical facilities provided in South Campus ?

There is health centre which operates 24*6 , with free and basic health services for staff and students. The doctors and other medical staff are well qualified and well experienced. The doctors from main campus also visit time to time .In case of emergency there are ambulances available to shift the patient in Hospitals of Mirzapur and Varanasi.

Does the campus has banking services ?

Two nationalized banks – SBI and PNB operate their branches here .

Does campus have gym for physical fitness ?

Yes , the campus has well equipped gymnasium which operates throughout the working days [2 hours in morning & 2 hours in evening].

What is the timing of girls hostel ?

opening: 7 am
Closing:
Mar-sep: 6 pm
Sep-feb: 5:30 pm

What is the timing of boys hostel ?

Opening: 6 am
Closing:  10 pm

What is the quality and routine of hostel mess?

You will get food 4 times a day.

Breakfast 8-10am, lunch 1-3 pm, evening snacks 5-7pm, dinner 8-10pm.
The quality of food is well enough. Chicken and egg both in a week and paneer for vegans.

What are the basic commodities and shops within the campus?

At the entrance of the campus we have an all in one general store and an Amul parlour.
In the premises of cafeteria there is another tea shop selling certain eatables.
There are two photocopy shops available in the campus.
There is a general store inside the girl’s hostel and a beauty parlour also.

What is the campus id card and it’s significance?

You are provided with a Pass book that serves as an ID card for the entire course period. It is used to get your library card and health card issued. Pass book is essential for all official purpose including examinations.
